Obituary for Junior Lee Boersma
Junior Lee Boersma, 73 formerly of Ogden, Iowa passed away on Wednesday December 4, 2019 at the Putnam County Care Center in Unionville, Missouri.
He was born June 3, 1946 the son of Pete and Mabel (Fairchild) Boersma in Boone Iowa.
Junior is preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley (Fisk) Boersma; daughter, Kathy Boersma; and one brother, Richard Boersma.
He is survived by his three grandchildren, Mary, Carl and Richard Mendenhall all of Unionville, Missouri and six great grandchildren, Aiden, Bentlee, Trenton, Eli, Ariel and Rider.
Junior grew up in Iowa and spent most of his life on the farm or helping other farmers. He loved the outdoors, warm weather, mowing, gardening and often a little fishing.
Juniors wishes were for cremation and his cremains will be interned at a later date.
