Obituary for Skeet Flowers
Skeet Flowers, 79 of Trenton, Mo passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at Livingston Manor in Chillicothe, MO.
He was born January 17, 1941 in Samson, Alabama to Jim and Fannie Gibson.
Skeet is preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys Flowers; son, Mitch (Chrystina) Flowers of Jamesport, MO; granddaughter, Page; and two sisters, Mayo and Audrie of Florida.
Skeet spent his early years in Alabama before moving to Missouri. In June of 1963 he met Gladys Peery and by December of that same year they were married at the Edinburg Baptist Church in Edinburg, MO. In 1974 they proudly welcomed their only son, Mitch.
He was a working devoted husband and father. He was employed with Trenton food, the Trenton Township and retired from Trenton R-9. When he was not working he enjoyed the outdoors, spoonbill fishing, deer hunting, camping, making molasses and going to auctions.
