Obituary for John Reid Worley
John Reid Worley II, age 65 of Unionville, MO passed away December 12, 2022 surrounded by his family at Boone County Hospital in Columbia, MO
John was born on February 28, 1957 in Des Moines, IA the son of John Reid and Beverly (Hills) Worley. He attended school in Des Moines, IA
Following graduation John worked in the construction industry, during the 70’s – 90’s John owned J and R Restoration with his father, in the late 90’s till 2000 he was the sole owner after his father retired. He also was a bouncer, antiques dealer and small business owner of several small businesses and most recently he served at the Lake Thunderhead Security Officer. John was always willing to take in and help anyone in need until the day he passed.
John was united in marriage to Amber Tracy on December 5, 2014
He enjoyed riding his Harley Davison motorcycle and especially loved his family. John was a founding member of Calvary Fellowship Church in Unionville.
John is survived by his wife Amber (Tracy) Worley of Unionville, MO, his children: Christina Worley (Bobby Lee) of Unionville, MO, John Worley of Unionville, MO, Amanda Rhoades of Centerville, Ted Arzola, of Unionville, MO, Brandon McIntyre of Unionville, MO, and Jacob Horton of Unionville, MO, Mckenzie Conner of Unionville, MO, his grandchildren: Brendan (Chase), John, Scot, Robert, Michael, Anastasia, Alexandra, Macey, Samara, Dakota, Savanah, Vanissa and Justice along with his great-grandchildren: Blayke, Nea, Adam, Zaiden , Zander , Zarian, Alice, Ellianna and Isabelle. His siblings: Sheila Jackson (Anthony), Victory Worley (Rachel) both of Towson, OK and his sister-in-law Rosemary Worley, his mother and father-in-law Denise and Rex Ritter of Exline, IA, sisters-in-law: Crystal Mayer, Devon Garden and Kelsie Forquer, Shannon Ritter and brother-in-law Ben Ritter, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted family.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Perry Worley, Pamela Worley and Jeanette Worley and father-in-law Rick Tracy.
Celebration of life service will be held on January 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Lake Marina.
Memorial contributions can be made out to the family to be designated at a later time.
