Linette was a quiet observer with a bit of a gypsy soul, a heart that loved wholly and completely with compassion and gusto! Her amazing smile could light up the world. She had an extreme work ethic, loved her career along with the travel and relocation opportunity’s it provided for her and Diann. A woman of many talents, she was and excellent gardener, spouse, and friend. She was a self-taught chef, loved to entertain and share with her friends. She was full of fun, laughter and loved the outdoors and a mountain girl at heart. Colorado was one of the places she enjoyed the most, providing lots of adventure, hiking and beautiful scenery. Allowing her the opportunity to use her God given talent for photography. Independence Pass in Colorado was her absolute favorite place and her favorite quote was “Not all who wander are lost.”
Linette’s wishes were for cremation and a Bonfire with hoodies that will be announced later this fall to celebrate and honor her life. Lin will remain in our hearts, always and forever!!!!

Linette was always about others. She served in the mission field and thousands came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as she shared her testimony even under duress. Tribes had gathered and threatened her life and yet she saw that people had traveled for days on foot to gather by the thousands. Linette was brave and did not back down. She testified anyways despite the imminent threat. Those very people who came to take her life instead gave their hearts to Jesus. Linette knew the joy of being loved well and the pain of rejection. She experienced being discredited and disqualified by those she admired and respected... For reasons beyond her control and before she even finished college. Linette did not let that deter her focus. She gave years of her life to serving the youth of the African Children's Choir traveling with them, mothering them. Linette served many brides while working at David's Bridal Shop. Countless special days and marriages blessed by her positivity, her outlook, her attention to detail and forthright demeanor. You could trust her honesty. Linette served her community as a 911 emergency services dispatcher. Literally in the most critical moments: to have Linette's calm disposition and quick thinking.. ...she was always saving lives. I never saw her scared, unless there was a bee in the room, and I felt honored to carry her EPI pen freshman year of college. Linette taught me to parralell park, she held my hand after the doctor told me I was barren, held the train to my wedding gown when I married, held my hand again when I was terrified that o was 19 and miraculously pregnant and unprepared to be a mother. Linette believd in me when I lost faith and she carried me emotionally even across thousands of miles through 14 moves, a divorce, 5 pregnancies and one miscarriage, and recovery from addiction to pain meds. Private pain and public disgrace- Lin ette was always my friend. Sister of my heart 💓 I love you. I cannot reconcile this tragedy. I miss you. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you more. I'm glad you felt loved and found joy and peace in your life. You mothered many. Foster parenting, spiritually parenting, and I will remember you as one of the most loving mothers I've ever seen. Diane, you are a saint for all you've endured and o pray you feel my admiration amd respect. I send you my love. We both know Lin put more life in her short years than most do with twice as much time. What an honor to know her, to love her, to call her friend. Godspeed until we meet again. "Not all who wander are lost." Amen
