Obituary for James Clark George

James Clark George, age 89, died at his home in Newtown Missouri on September 24, 2019.

Following a career in the US army and receiving degrees at both Arizona State University and Pepperdine University, he began a 25-year career with Lockheed Martin, as a materials research engineer working on spacecraft under NASA contract development in 25 countries. As an aeronautical engineer, he was involved in the development of the P3, SR71, the F-117, the national aerospace plane, and the Poseidon II missile. After retirement, he spent a few years in Southern California, then moved back to his hometown of Newtown.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Trich, and his son, Timothy George. He also had four grandchildren, William Trich, Brittany Trich, William George and Elizabeth George.
