Mary Louise (Hipkins) McDonald, 78 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Wednesday October 2, 2019
at the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Born November 19, 1940 the daughter of Roger Edwin and Mabel Lillian (Bastian) Hipkins in Shelbina, Missouri

Mary is survived by her children, Corissa Denise Chitwood Fansler of Kirksville, MO. Eric James McDonald and stepson Abe McDonald; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Judah, Hannah Shalana, McKinlay, Titus Fansler, Heidi Brockland, Nada Whitehead, Thomas, Sony, Ruiz, Rose Chamberlain, Naomi Tharp, Sierra Garcia, Natasha, Amon, Jasmine, Shalana, and Detrick Vanderlinden, Abe, Marlee and Maison McDonald; twenty-five great grandchildren, including Rylund, Holden, Creed, Beau and Thomas who were nearby.; sister, Juanita Ives of Shelbina MO. nieces, Chrystal (Hipkins) Perrigo, Diane (Hipkins) Gliser, Nancy (Ives) Purdy; nephews, Clint Hipkins, Jim, John and Don Ives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tina Paulette Chitwood Vanderlinden, brother Charles Hipkins.

Mary grew up in the Shelbina area before spending most of her adult life in Kansas City. She enjoyed
her years working at Union Station. She was a devout Catholic, loved her church and was a member of the Kansas City Cathedral of St Peter. She enjoyed many things in life, especially garden tomatoes, ice cream, horses, and helping care for her great grandson Beau.

A visitation is planned for 1:00 pm on Saturday November 23, 2019 at the Grace Community Bible Church 1501 E Northtown Road Kirksville, Missouri 63501

Mary was cremated and services have been provided by A Simplified Funeral Solution.
