Obituary for Jeremy Reed
Jeremy Andrew Reed was born August 28, 1980 in Kirksville, Missouri, and died peacefully on January 26, 2021 in Jefferson City, Missouri.
He's survived by his wife of 21 years, Michelle Reed, his mother Mary Ann Maverick and 15 siblings Dakota (Barbara) Reed, Jasmine Ihnat, Shawn Reed, Melissa Reed-Morse and husband Shannon, Angel Ransom and husband Larry, Latisha Reed, Emily Reed, Samantha Grgurich and husband Derek, Jenny Fish, Brandon Reed, Tyler Compton and wife Sara, Sara Reed, Mark Reed, Ashley Smith, and Jerod Reed. Jeremy is also survived with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeremy also had a special relationship with his Aunt Teresa Bartlett, cousin Darcia VanSickel, and great cousin Anslee VanSickel.
He's preceded in death by his father, Ronald Andrew Reed, his paternal grandparents Harvey Reed and Clara Bell Norfolk (Eastman), his maternal grandparents Harold and Alta Bartlett and cousin Lonnie Wayne Magruder.
Jeremy spent his high school years playing football and wrestling for the Kirksville Senior High School. Jeremy met the love of his life working at McDonalds while in high school. Jeremy enjoyed being an over the road truck driver for 10 years. Jeremy loved spending his free time riding four-wheelers with the family, BBQing with loved ones, and fishing.
Receiving his miracle, Jeremy left behind a legacy of love and laughter. And now, he's racing Angels and Jesus four-wheel riding and rock bouncing. We take comfort in knowing Jeremy is finally at peace, healed and in heaven, having a blast being able to do all the things he wished to do here.
A celebration of life and barbeque dinner will be held in the spring.
