Obituary for Glen Leon Culler

Glen Leon Culler, age 83 of La Plata, MO formerly of Edina, MO passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Glen was born on January 12, 1939, in Knox County, MO the son of Robert Harry and Mabel Mae (Barnes) Culler. He was united in marriage to Betty Dolores Stull in Hurdland, Missouri in January of 1964. Glen was raised in the Knox County area and attended the Pleasant Valley school, he worked at several jobs before retirement but always had a passion for farming. In his retirement years he enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking tea and fishing. Glen will be missed by all of his friends in the Edina, Hurdland, and Kirksville areas. Glen's favorite song was The Old Rugged Cross.
Glen is survived by Betty Mitch of LaPlata, Missouri, his two daughters: Glenda Gonzales of Kirksville, Missouri and Betty Jo Sellers of Dover, AR. His grandchildren; Jerilyn E Culler, Jamie Lynn, David, Billie, and Grant and one great-grandchild Heaven Howard along with several nieces and nephews, his brother William Richard Cullers of Queen City, MO and sisters Wilma Pearl Funk of Glenwood, Missouri and Mary Margaret Jacobson of Keokuk, Iowa.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, a son Glen Leon Jr. of Waldron, AR, three brothers; Paul Raymond, Larry Francis, and Robert Dale all formerly of Hurdland, Missouri, his brother-in-law Henry Funk of Lancaster MO, his sisters-in-law; Doris Jean Cullers of Queen City, Missouri and Norma Culler of Hurdland, Missouri, nephews; Kenneth Funk and William Christopher Cullers and his niece Rhonda Bernice.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
