Obituary for Edward Willam Robbins

Edward William Robbins, age 71 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence in Kirksville, MO.
Edward was born on October 16, 1950, in Des Moines, IA the son of Labe and Ruth (Thompson) Robbins. He was raised in the Worthington, MO area and attended the local schools. Edward faithfully served his country with the United States Navy. He later worked for Missouri Mining and then as a welder with Bramer Construction and traveled extensively with them. In his retirement years he was the cook at the Helping Hands Mission outreach in Kirksville and was a proud member of the Gospel Outreach Church. He enjoyed fishing with Pastor
Edward is survived by his partner Sandy Rogers of Kirksville, MO, sons; Pat and Martin Robbins of Kirksville, MO, his brother Labe Robbins Jr. (Marie) of Queen City, MO, and his sister-in-law George Ann Robbins of Kirksville and his beloved grandchildren; Cameron, Trigger, Desiree, Preston, Aiden, Jasper, Shooter, Kyley, Jentry, Haley, Brody, Kennedy, Riley, and great-grandsons; Nolan, Cohen and Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters; Margaret Gregory and JoAnn Clark and brothers; David Robbins, Joe Robbins, and Hermon Richmond.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Gospel Outreach Church on Washington Street in Kirksville with Pastor Norman Keller officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 until the service time at 2:00.
Burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family’s choice and left at or mailed to the funeral home.
